My name is Nicholas Shereikis. As you can probably tell from the banner of my blog, I'm not only a soccer fan but a diehard Manchester United fan as well. I captain a Division 1 NCSL club team, and I played for Blair my from freshman to junior year - stopping only when I tore my ACL last summer.
When I'm not playing, though, I have a couple other hobbies. As managing editor of my school's online newspaper, Silver Chips Online, a lot of my time is spent either writing or editing articles. I also enjoy reading, painting, and film editing. I've also been taking piano lessons for just about nine years now, and over the last few years I've begun to work in some singing as well.
I've created this blog to record my growth throughout the course of my CAP career (Blair's Communication Arts Program). Each piece that I upload signifies something different about my work or marks an important point in my academic life, and the reflections I attach will hopefully help explain those. Theoretically, the quality of the work I post should increase exponentially throughout my high school experience - making this blog an easy way to look back on my growth as well as helping colleges understand who I am academically.
